Intriguing history around every corner
Lafayette Avenue was once known as the "Avenue of the Barons," named after a group of 19th century titans credited for the early development of Clifton and much of Cincinnati. Schools, hospitals, parks, you name it; they created much of the fabric of our region. Famous guests to the neighborhood included Edward, Prince of Wales (who later became King of England), and Charles Dickens.
Today, majestic estates, trees, and gardens continue to line Lafayette, making this one of the most esteemed addresses in Cincinnati.

Gustave Drach, renowned local architect, designed 500 Lafayette and it was built in 1916. That same year, Ernest H. (E.H.) Huenefeld, local philanthropist and entrepreneur, gifted the building to Deaconess Bethesda Hospital to house retired preachers and missionaries.

Very pleased with my experience here with Gaslight Property. I have been a tenant of theirs for about a year and a half. I have referred friends and they are happy as well. I must say that with this current pandemic they have gone above and beyond to make their tenants feel safe and secure in their homes. They are super quick to respond to maintenance issues too. I personally plan on being with them for several more years to come.
